Refinishing is the smart choice for outdated or damaged fixtures

Chips, rust, cracks, stains, and dull areas go away completely. A fixture in an outdated color can be changed so it looks new again, and you pick the color to match your decor.

Replacing a tub means expensive tradesmen, a week of disruption, noisy demolition, and possible damage to floors, walls, and plumbing. Refinishing gets the job done in hours, not days.

Most customers can't tell a refinished tub from a brand new one.

Replacing a tub alone can cost $2,500 or more, before the mess.

Refinishing keeps the original tub, takes one worker, and is usually finished in a day or less.

What we refinish

Porcelain, steel, fiberglass, acrylic, cast iron, laminate, and ceramic tile.

Bathtubs

The job we do most. Outdated colors, rust, chips, and dull surfaces are fixed in a few hours.

Wall tile

We repair cracks and holes, fill missing grout, and add a moisture-proof topcoat that resists mold for years.

Countertops

Knife cuts, burns, stains, and dated colors are no match for our process. Ask about our faux granite topcoat.

Sinks

A refinished sink often completes the bathroom. Chips, dull color, and old finishes are all remedied.

Spot repair

Not every fixture needs a full recoat. We repair isolated chips and cracks without redoing the whole surface.

Fiberglass inlays

A cracked tub or shower bottom can cause serious water damage. We custom-fit a new bottom over it, permanently.

How a refinish goes

We do every step, every time.

  1. Prepare the workspace

A powerful ventilation system vents all fumes outside, and the surrounding area is fully protected.

  2. Make every repair

Cracks, dents, scratches, and rust are repaired before any coating goes on.

  3. Prepare the surface

Thorough prep is what makes the topcoat bond permanently. This is the step that decides how long the finish lasts.

  4. Apply the topcoat

A professional spray gun lays down a smooth, drip-free, high-gloss finish.

Common questions

Answers from more than 20 years of refinishing.

How long does the job take?

Most tubs, sinks, and countertops take three to four hours. With our premium topcoat you can use the fixture the same day.

Will it look painted?

No. The topcoat goes on with a professional spray gun, so the finish is smooth and glossy with no brush marks or drips.

Are your coatings VOC compliant?

Yes. Our newest coating fully meets federal VOC guidelines and is among the most environmentally friendly in the industry.

Is refinishing the same as reglazing?

Yes. Both words describe preparing and refinishing a porcelain, tile, or laminate fixture. We use them interchangeably.

Can I use a DIY kit from the hardware store?

We strongly advise against it. DIY kits usually fail within a month or two, and a professional then has to strip and redo the work at extra cost.

My tub was refinished by someone else and is peeling. Can you fix it?

Yes. Peeling almost always means shortcuts were taken during prep. We prepare every surface carefully with premium materials so the bond lasts.

What surfaces can you refinish?

Tubs, wall tile, sinks, vanity tops, showers, cultured marble, Formica countertops, cast iron porcelain, fiberglass, and acrylic.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We warranty our work against cracking or peeling for five years or two service calls, whichever comes first. Warranty work costs you nothing.

Our 5-year warranty

We warranty our work against cracking or peeling from the date of completion. If your fixture needs a touch-up during the warranty period, labor and materials are free.

Safe cleaners: Scrubbing Bubbles, Lysol Tub and Tile, Mr. Clean Eraser, or Dawn dish soap.

To keep it valid, please avoid

  • Suction-cup mats, soap dishes, or other adhesive items on the surface
  • Abrasive cleaners such as Comet, Ajax, or Kaboom, and acids or toilet bowl cleaners
  • Scrubbing sponges, steel wool, or sandpaper
  • Using the tub within 4 hours of refinishing
  • Heavy tools, ladders, or objects dropped on the tub
